Description
1/8″ x 27 Thread Forming Thread. 90° Hydraulic Grease Fitting.
Zinc Trivalent Passivate Finish. RoHS and REACH Compliant.
Self-forming threads can be screwed or driven into an untapped hole. The recommended size of the hole for a 1/8 x 27 thread is 9.47-9.65mm (Ref SAE J534) but can be dependent on the material.
Avoid chamfering as a sharp edge to the hole helps the thread bite.
Also available with Zinc Yellow Chromate. Code 217790. Limited Availability.
