Hydraulic Grease Fittings
Hydraulic Grease Fittings are defined by the shape of the tip. They are also referred to as Grease Nipples or Zerks.
The most common type of grease fitting, these are greased with a 3 or 4 jaw coupler which engages over the tip. The jaws grip tighter the higher the pressure – up to 8,000psi.
These fittings have a ball check, are case hardened, and include stress relieved springs. Available in Steel-zinc plated, 303 or 316 Stainless Steel, Brass and Monel.
The ball check is to prevent dirt and contamination from entering the fitting which may damage the component being lubricated. It is not to seal against back pressure and must never be used as such. This is a dangerous practice.

Button Head Grease Fittings
Button head fittings are so called because of the shape of the head – visually like a button.
The couplers for these fittings slide over the button, holding it in place whilst greasing at pressures up to 8,000 psi.
There are 3 standards for these fittings
– British: Standard & Industrial
– German DIN: 10mm, 16mm & 22mm diameter
– American: .625″ Diameter & 7/8 Diameter
These fittings have a ball check and are made from steel, 303/316 stainless steel, brass or phosphor bronze.

Push Type Grease Fittings
These fittings are an older style of fitting and are often used for application at lower pressures.
The couplers do not require jaws like the hydraulic fitting and are often used with a push gun.
These fittings have a ball check and are made using steel.

Cup Type Grease Fittings
These fittings have a concave top and sit flush to the surface to prevent knocks causing damage. They are used at lower pressures.
The nozzle for these fittings goes inside the concave surface and are used with a push grease gun.
This range of fittings have a ball check, and are made using steel or stainless steel.

Why do our Customers Choose Kingfisher?
"Our business philosophy is to market original brand, this kind of demands long term relationships based on trust and open discussions. As we see it, we have the opportunity to distribute a top of the line fitting, knowing that what we offer to our customers will work as expected, every time, something we are proud of. At any given time when I receive a question about our philosophy I give the partnership between Kingfisher and Internordic as an example. We see ourselves as an extended sales and marketing of Kingfisher and Kingfisher is a part of Internordic. So, with the history of 60 years, I hope for another 60 to come."
