This version has a shorter thread than standard.
Hardened Steel. Zinc Plated with Yellow Chromate Finish.
Self-forming threads can be screwed or driven into an untapped hole. Recommended hole size for M8 x 1 is 7.5mm (DIN 71412) The actual size of the hole must be determined by the user and maybe affected by the nature of the material.
